Since the debut of his first play Just Waiting in 2003, Michael's works have been regularly performed at theatres, drama festivals and rehearsed readings.

He has also directed productions of The Importance Of Being Earnest, Just Waiting and his first pantomime Robin Hood.

He is writing a six part TV drama Kingdom Of The Souls which he hopes will be commissioned in the future.

CP Theatre Productions produced two of Michael's plays as part of the company's New Writing: 2011 Season production. Michael has dedicated the performances of Plays On The Mind and Autumn Leaves to his parents, Bernard and Carol Sands.
